    Account Manager – Inside Sales

    Contract To Hire Position


    Position Description:
    GutCheck has an immediate opening for a full-time contract to hire position for the role of Account Manager- Inside Sales. This is a highly collaborative, team-driven role. The ideal candidate will be flexible, reliable, results-oriented and self-motivated. The position will report to the Director of Sales. The Account Manager- Inside Sales will have the opportunity to build your own book of business while also supporting the needs of the broader sales team in a non-corporate environment. This is a quota-carrying telephone sales role that combines prospecting and cultivating leads, closing sales and managing existing client relationships. The ideal candidate will also be a good listener and very process oriented. It is important for the candidate to demonstrate skills as an internal team player, and work well with Customer Support, Marketing, and Product Development as well.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Identify opportunities and contacts for new customer acquisition
    • Enterprise Account Management- Organize and manage enterprise lead opportunities, and nurture them until they are ready for final close by Director of Sales 
    • Non-Enterprise Account Management- Manage the full lifecycle sales process for non-enterprise accounts, from prospecting and cold calling through product demonstration and close
    • Create and execute effective outbound calling campaigns and quotas
    • Fully understand customer needs and articulate the GutCheck value story

    Required Qualifications:

    • At least 2 years of technical sales experience, appointment setting and/or lead generating experience in an inside sales position in a technology related environment
    • A college degree or demonstrated equivalent experience
    • A ‘hunter’ sales mentality with a strong desire to develop skills and advance a sales career
    • Ability to manage a large number of leads, contacts, accounts and opportunities in a CRM system quickly and accurately
    • Desire to work in a team selling collaborative environment
    • Strong time management and multi-tasking skills
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
    • Responsible for meeting aggressive sales quotas and objectives; posting weekly results
    • Flexibility in working with client timelines and requirements

    Desired Qualifications / Preferred Competencies:

    • 1 – 2 years of enterprise / B2B sales experience highly desired
    • Understanding of marketing practices and basic market research techniques
    • Proven ability to develop and refine sales processes
    • Experience with Salesforce.com desirable

    Compensation: The qualified candidate chosen will start out on an hourly + bonus basis for 60 days, with an opportunity to convert to a full time position with comprehensive benefits at that time.
