Company Positions Itself for Continued Revenue Growth, Doubles Down on Commitment to Exceptional Client Service

GutCheck, a pioneer in the agile market research space, today announced the addition of two industry veterans to its executive leadership team. Jessica Gaedeke joins as Executive Vice President of Sales, and Brian Harmon has been named Executive Vice President of Client Service and Delivery.

“We couldn’t be more excited to have professionals of this caliber joining our business,” said CEO Matt Warta. “We were looking for top market research talent to lead our sales and client service teams, and with more than 35 years of combined industry experience and a long track record of success, we found exactly that in Jess and Brian. I look forward to the significant contributions they will make on our path to continued growth.”

Gaedeke has more than 15 years of experience in market research and sales, with an emphasis on consultative selling and developing commercial talent. She most recently served as the Chief Revenue Officer of Designalytics, a research firm specializing in package design measurement. Prior to her time there, Gaedeke also held leadership positions with Nielsen BASES, Affinnova, and InsightsNow, and has worked across the consumer packaged goods, technology, and services verticals.

“I’m lucky to have been a part of a very diverse set of commercial organizations, including true startup environments, technology-driven entrepreneurial companies, and long-standing industry leaders,” said Gaedeke. “My intent is to leverage that varied perspective to rapidly accelerate GutCheck’s growth.”

Gaedeke’s market research experience is a strong fit with GutCheck’s unique value proposition. “Many firms have tried to replicate the agile research approach that GutCheck pioneered a decade ago, but none have been able to fully deliver,” said Gaedeke. “Agile research necessitates speed and cost efficiency, but clients simply cannot compromise insight depth or rigor. Once I looked “under the hood” and saw GutCheck’s technology and expertise for myself, I knew I had to be part of this team.”

Harmon joins GutCheck after spending nearly two decades with Kantar, most recently as Managing Director of the firm’s Atlanta office. He has also previously held leadership roles with TNS and Millward Brown. Throughout his career he has consulted Fortune 100 clients across a variety of industries, with a focus on delivering audience insights they can leverage to better understand and appeal to their consumers. Harmon has also been responsible for managing and developing large teams of insights professionals focused on driving high-impact business decisions and successful client relationships.

“GutCheck’s ability to deliver agile solutions in the upfront strategic exploratory phase of research is unmatched in the industry and a key competitive differentiator. This presents us with an exciting opportunity to impact our clients’ businesses at any touchpoint in the innovation cycle,” said Harmon. “The need to do more with less – without compromising quality – has never been a greater priority. Our team is committed to keeping our clients at the center of every decision we make, and is working diligently to ensure they reap the full benefits of truly agile market research.”
