GutCheck Launches The “Gutsiest Brands” Project – A New Platform Exploring the DNA Of Winning Brands

Press Release

February 15, 2022

In an ultra-competitive world, some brands have a knack for winning, while others are left wondering why their new products, services and campaigns miss the mark. All brands aspire to have loyal, engaged followers, but some are more adept at truly connecting to people in that “they get me” sort of way.

In studying brands that win consistently, GutCheck, the Agile Human Experience Intelligence company, recognized a pattern of companies going beneath the surface to truly understand people in multi-dimensional ways, and, importantly, applying that learning decisively.

GutCheck found these brands exhibited four key behaviors: they lead with empathy; they demonstrate a pioneering spirit; they stand behind bold ideas; and they see opportunities where others see tradeoffs.

We termed brands that display these traits, the Gutsiest Brands,” explains Rob Wengel, GutCheck CEO.  “We are exposed to hundreds, if not thousands, of brands impressions daily, and we reward brands with our attention and affinity when they engage us in an authentic way. The brands that understand our emotions, personalities, and needs, ultimately win our hearts and minds.”

The Gutsiest Brands Project, spearheaded by a new podcast available on all major streaming podcast networks, celebrates the stories of the people and companies who have blazed these trails – from global brand leaders to entrepreneurs – and explores the lessons they learned along the way.

Wengel concludes, “It takes guts to breakthrough, and we are inspired by brands that consistently do so. GutCheck is delighted to share their experiences as a catalyst to encourage others to do the same. The Gutsiest Brands Project will be an ongoing multi-channel conversation, helping more brands deliver refreshingly human experiences.”
